School Supply for the 2019-2020 Year

 

The Apollo PTA is excited to announce the grade level school supplies kits for the 2019-2020 school year are available to purchase online now until 6/30/2019. Please follow the steps below to place your order:

  • Click HERE to the online store.
  • Choose the grade your child will be entering in the fall.
  • Follow the directions to complete your order.

The benefits for ordering through the program:

  • Saves you time, making “back-to-school prep” less hectic and more enjoyable for both students and parents.
  • Teacher requested, name brand items at reasonable prices.
  • Options to purchase quality headphones and flash drives.
  • All kits will be delivered directly to Apollo and to your child’s classroom before the first day of school.

2019-2020 PTA Board

 

WE need YOU to make a difference for our Apollo kids!

YOU have skills that WE the Apollo PTA is looking for to fill various board and committee positions for the 2019-2020 year. You’ll find that many require a small, flexible time commitment that can fit your schedule. Lend us your skills and expertise by joining a team of parents just like you who work together to make a difference in the daily lives of the students – our children – at Apollo Elementary School.

Golden Acorn Awards

Nominate a great volunteer or an outstanding educator!

2018-2019 Apollo Elementary PTA Service Awards - Our PTA’s highest form of recognition. Nominate someone who has put a lot of time and energy into our school!

  • Golden Acorn Award: for PTA volunteers who go above and beyond to support the students and school.
  • Outstanding Educator Award: for teachers, paraprofessionals, bus drivers, custodians, administrators or staff who go above and beyond.
  • Outstanding Advocate Award: for volunteers who advocate for children and youth at the school, district, state or national level.

Each winner receives an award pin and a special certificate from the Washington State PTA. The PTA also contributes $50 in the winner’s name to the Washington State PTA Scholarship Foundation, which provides scholarships to selected high school students entering post-secondary education.

If you're planning to help out in the classroom or with any of the fun PTA activities this year, there's a registration process for the entire Issaquah School District. All volunteers must complete the District's online application and background check

Save yourself the hassle of the store and pre-order NEXT years school supplies today!  Simply click here and add the supplies list for the grade your kiddo will be in next school year to your cart.  A paper order form will be sent home Monday, June 2nd for those who prefer to pay by check (please make payable to “Apollo PTA”.  Paper orders are due Monday, June 16th and online orders June 23rd.

All school supply kits will be in your child’s classroom a the Back to School Event on September 2nd.
