These are the Standing Rules of the Apollo Elementary PTA for the 2026–2027 school year, reproduced in full. They are adopted annually by a majority vote at a General Membership meeting and may be amended at any regular General Membership meeting by majority vote.
The Board of Directors shall consist of the elected officers and all appointed Directors and Standing Committee chairpersons. The appointed Directors of this board shall be: Events, Programs, Fundraising, Volunteers, Communications. The Standing Committee of this board shall be: Advocacy,Issaquah Schools Foundation (ISF), Membership, Family & Community Engagement (FACE), Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), Outreach, Art, and Special Education. Every Board of Director shall have a vote on the board.
Ad-Hoc Committee shall have voice, no vote on the board and shall be: Teacher Liaison, Influence the Choice.
Every Board of Director and Ad-Hoc Committee chairperson shall be a current PTA member of this Unit
Access to Apollo Elementary PTA student/family contact data (provided by the Issaquah School District) shall be limited to the President(s) and Communications Director.
Board members and committee chairs may be granted access to directory information when necessary to perform their PTA duties. Any access provided shall be limited to only the information necessary for the specific PTA purpose.
Student and family information obtained through the directory shall be used solely for authorized PTA business and shall not be shared, copied, downloaded, distributed, or used for personal purposes.
Access shall be removed when it is no longer necessary for the individual’s PTA responsibilities or when their term or position ends.
